DHE239 and DHE164 are thin client labs with engineering software available on them.
Troubleshooting a thin client
- When you first sit down at a station, the thin client should be off. Pushing the button on the front of the thin client will turn it on. Make sure that the power is also on for the monitor connected to the workstation.
- The screen will spit out some weird looking UNIX messages.
- Log in with your SECS account.
- When you are done, PLEASE shut off your thin client by holding down the power button for 4 seconds.
Known Issues
- Sound currently does not work on thin clients.
- USB Keys currently do not work on thin clients.
