Remote Access
We offer a variety of tools to help you access the network's services from outside the network.
Transferring Files --- This tutorial demonstrates how to move files and folders to and from your network drive giving you access to all you files stored on the network drive wherever you are.
VPN --- Some features of the network are only available to computers inside the network. VPN technology allows you allows you to "dial in" to SECS from any computer, and act as if you were connected to the network here on campus.
Servers --- All SECS students have an account on our Linux servers, Pandora and Janus. Ssh allows you to access these servers from on or off campus with a command line interface. NX provides graphical access to the servers.
Remote Desktop --- Remote desktop allows access to an individual windows P.C. remotely.
