Printing in SECS
Java is the workgroup printer, located in DHE169. It is available for faculty and staff who want to print documents. To connect to Java as your printer, you need to open up Windows Explorer and navigate to the print server \\print\, find Java, right click, and select "Connect to", as illustrated in these screenshots
- If you are prompted for a username and password, use your SECS credentials, this will allow you to connect.
If you are NOT on the SECS Active Directory, you may need to navigate to \\print.secs.oakland.edu to find Java. This is normal.
- You do NOT need to install the drivers for the printer, the print server will automagically push them down to your computer.
