Mechanical Computer-Aided Engineering Lab
The lab houses 23 networked PCs and one laser printer, and has a few CAD/CAM/CAE software for instruction including Moldflow, ZPrint, CATIA and ANSYS. The classes utilizing the facility intensively are EGR120 Computer Graphics & CAD, ME308 Computer-Aided Design, ME487/587 Mechanical Computer-Aided Engineering, and ME 488/588 Mechanical Computer-Aided Manufacturing. Students of other classes such as ME492 Senior Design Project, ME486 Mechanical System Design also use the computing power of the lab to model and simulate mechanical engineering problems.
